USMNT 2026 World Cup Roster

The USMNT's final 2026 World Cup roster has not been announced yet. As co-hosts, the United States qualify automatically, and head coach Mauricio Pochettino will name his 26 players close to the June kickoff.

Automatic qualification as hosts

Because the United States co-hosts the 2026 World Cup with Canada and Mexico, the USMNT qualifies automatically and does not play CONCACAF qualifiers, giving the coaching staff extra time to assess players in friendlies and the Gold Cup.

The core group

The squad is built around a young, Europe-based generation, with Christian Pulisic the standout name alongside team-mates established in recent national-team camps. The final make-up depends on form and fitness through the 2025–26 season.

Selection under Mauricio Pochettino

The USA are coached by Mauricio Pochettino, and his choices in friendlies and tournaments are the best guide to the final roster. We update this page as official call-ups and the final 26 are confirmed.
